NADCAP Logo (1)

Lynn Welding’s reputation comes to light when you see the weld bead produced by one of our certified welders. Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW welding) is one of our specialties. Our experienced welders follow all of the NADCAP requirements needed to ensure a quality weld. Whether we are welding aluminum or stainless steel, rest assured that the result will be well within your tolerances and the weld will be of X-ray quality. Because Lynn Welding is NADCAP accredited we must follow a very defined and strict set of guidelines when welding our customer’s components. These guidelines ensure that our qualified welders are tested regularly in all metal groups to ensure that their welding skills remain intact.

Lynn Welding is AWS D17.1 Certified, view our other aerospace welding approvals below.

The system is designed to weld parts at three separate stations presented to the robot. One station consists of a two-axis positioner featuring three tooling stations presented to a six-axis welding robot governed by a light curtain safety system so that operator intervention is fast, easy, and safe. The other two stations consist of a 2’x4.5’ weld tooling table protected by pneumatic telescoping barrier doors.

Robotic Welding

The system is designed to weld parts at three separate stations presented to the robot. One station consists of a two-axis positioner featuring three tooling stations presented to a six-axis welding robot governed by a light curtain safety system so that operator intervention is fast, easy, and safe. The other two stations consist of a 2’x4.5’ weld tooling table protected by pneumatic telescoping barrier doors.

This system is designed with these multiple stations for flexibility, and to minimize the need for tooling change-out. The system uses an ABB 6-axis robotic arm integrated to Fronius TIG welding equipment to achieve needed quality and through-put of parts.

"Thank you for having such a great Team, the level of communication, and follow up, is definitely first class, and I just wanted to extend my gratitude toward you, and your Team for the great work they do. I know Aerospace can be a “thankless” industry sometimes, and always feels like “what have you done for me lately”, however, I just want you to know, we appreciate Lynn Welding’s great work, and look forward to continue a successful business relationship."
