This position requires a high level of technical skill and focus. Most welding is for the aerospace industry and this requires the highest quality possible. Supply Chain Process Improvement Facilitator:

Description: Review engineering drawing and specifications to plan, create, and establish sequence of operations to fabricate parts or products, and apply special services needed. Review customers’ specifications to make sure all services applied and products fabricated satisfy all the requirements to pass the First Article Inspections, quality assurance, and quality control inspections with the proper record control to ensure compliance with company and industry quality standards. Communicate with customers and suppliers to plan effective flow of products and services; assist Production Team and Shipping/Receiving Department on job scheduling. Create preventative actions to avoid problems and corrective actions to fix existing problems. Apply ABC Stratification system and Kanban system to manage inventory. Prepare the company for AS9100 audits, customer audits, and internal audits, maintaining compliance with requirements of regulatory agencies, as well as controlling equipment calibrations requirements. Use Value Stream Mapping to find and eliminate bottleneck to improve on-time delivery and customer satisfaction, and create standard works with focus on Lean management system to reduce waste and mistake. Identify procurement requirements to ensure the compliance with industry standards and customers’ requirements, and maintain information control on suppliers’ qualifications.

Requirements: Master’s Degree in Technology Management, plus one (1) year of experience required.

Hours: 35 hours per week

Salary: $34.78 per hour
